In January 2022, on her 12th birthday, Kaylee received a week-long pass to try karting. One lap was all it took—she was hooked. Her only complaint? She wanted to go faster.

She began racing at the Phoenix Kart Racing Association (PKRA) in Glendale, Arizona, starting in the LO206 J2 class, a 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton-powered kart. Over the next year, she committed herself to mastering the fundamentals—learning race craft, adapting to different track configurations, and pushing her limits through local club races as well as trips across state lines to compete in California.

Kaylee’s natural talent quickly became undeniable. Her determination and resilience stood out in a male-dominated sport, and by the end of her first year she had collected multiple podiums at her home track, earned a second-place finish at a national karting event in California, and reached a new milestone by competing at the Grand Nationals in Indiana—showcasing just how rapidly she was rising through the karting ranks.

Stepping UP

In 2023, Kaylee took a bold step that transformed her racing trajectory. She moved from a 4-stroke to a far more demanding 2-stroke platform—joining J3 Competition and earning a coveted position as a factory driver for CompKart, one of the most respected brands in the sport. This wasn’t just a change in equipment; it was a leap into a higher level of intensity, speed, and expectation. And Kaylee embraced it without hesitation.

That year became her gateway to the world stage. Kaylee traveled across the United States, racing coast to coast, and expanded her reach internationally with events in Canada, Spain, and the United Kingdom. Each race forced her to adapt faster, push harder, and rise to competitors with years more experience. And she did.

Her growth was unmistakable. She earned a third-place finish where she celebrated her first International podium in Canada. A big milestone that highlighted not only her talent, but her grit, her composure, and her ability to elevate under pressure. 2023 marked the moment Kaylee stopped being “a young driver with potential” and became a competitor to watch.

Progression

What started as a random exchange between neighbors fast tracked Kaylee’s career. In May of 2023 we went out to the Podium Club at Attesa owned by Dan Erickson. That is when the plan for Kaylee to go open wheel became a reality. The Podium Club is the southwest’s only Automobile and Motorcycle track designed to FIA/FIM safety specs.

In January of 2024 on her 14th birthday Kaylee took part in their first ever 2-Day SCCA Accreditation Licensing Class at the Podium Club ran by Tim Rose. She received the highest score in the class for graduation.

Days after graduating from the class and obtaining her license, Kaylee raced her first open wheel race in the RUSH SR. She took 3rd place out of 21 drivers; she was the youngest driver and the only female. The adrenal in open wheel fueled her and shortly after she stopped karting and focused 100% on open wheel.

Beyond the track, Kaylee has become a distinguished member of the Podium Club in Casa Grande, AZ. This affiliation has opened doors for her to test her skills in diverse vehicles, including the Rush SR and Porsche GT3, showcasing her versatility as a driver.

In September 2024 Kaylee joined Exclusive Autosport for the 2025 USF Junior Season.  Kaylee was one of three females out of a field of 22 drivers.

Once the official season started, Kaylee put her head down and focused on learning this new racecraft. As the season progressed so has her talent. Kaylee has shown consistent improvement  which has led her to top 10 speeds, and placement throughout the season.

As the USF season came to an end. Kaylee was invited to Spain to take part in the first official F1 Academy Rookie test for the 2026 season.

Kaylee’s goals aren’t just big, they’re massive.

Her determination and laser-focus stand out immediately. When she’s not on track, she’s in the gym building strength, power, and endurance.
