Three weeks after Kaylee's previous race event with Lucas Oil, Kaylee headed to Kentucky to compete at NCM Motorsports Park.

Two days of Advanced Lapping
Kaylee arrived at NCM Motorsports Park, and had two days of practice. Throughout the days, they struggled with minor mechanical issues, but got them resolved. Kaylee's times were very close to the lead pace.
Race Days: A Ray of Emotions
Kaylee went out for practice on Race Day one, and was well of pace. However, it wasn't just the leader, she was off everyone. She goes out to qualifying, and qualifies P8. It was now evident there was a mechanical issue.
Kaylee switches cars for Race One. Her times get worse, meanwhile she is also having problems upshifting. She attempts to stay with the group ahead, but cannot keep up the pace. Frustrations grow, and confidence drops.
On Day Two, the rest of the races, and another qualifying for race three, were to be held. The day opens with qualifying. Kaylee is directed back into the first car they started with, (#19) which previously had front locking issues. These were said to have been resolved. It was expected for Kaylee to be high up in the ranks, but she cannot place down a quick enough lap. Unfortunately, during the session, the car was retired due to gearbox issues. Kaylee will later start Race 3 in P9.
Race Two is set to begin, as Kaylee is in yet another car, starting in P8. At the beginning of the race, it became more than evident that she has been battling cars throughout the weekend. Kaylee moves up to P5 quickly, and third fastest on track. She is chasing down the front pack when the driver behind, P6, locks up his brakes and takes both him and Kaylee out in a hairpin. Due to the Lucas Oil School's rules, pitting is necessary if they make contact. This shuffles Kaylee all the way down to P9. An unfortunate end, but a positive showing.
Race three finally comes around. She is set to start P9 from the previous qualifying session held earlier that day. She quickly moves to P7, but the top six drivers have a gap. Surely, with fighting, she will close on them. However, there was no fighting, and with no draft to help her, it was extremely difficult to close the gap.

It was a very challenging four days to say the least. The results weren't what Kaylee expected, but she learned a lot throughout the weekend on the mechanical, and driving side. Kaylee will soon head to Portland to meet her new team for the 2025 USF Juniors Season!
